✓ £ 1 ' s V. ' e, the Seniors of 40, dedicate this issue of the Ki-Light to our FATHERS and I OTHERS, v ho v;orked so faithfully and pa- tiently, that we might have a High School Education. He love then for the sacrifices they have made for us . Love , S S nJiCf ’If 0 VA k , tc ; st I I 4 r Our library, rated as one of the best in South- west Virginia, was recently built at a cost of two thousand dollars. This library consists of twenty- five hundred books. It is furnished with reading tables, chairs, properly arranged shelves upon which are displayed the trophies of our school, and polished hardwood floors. Soon, after many years of hard work and persuasion, a new gymnasium is to be built, costing twenty-thousand dollars. It is hoped that next year this new building can be pictured with the school building. ST. PAUL HIGH SCHOOL St. Paul High School, erected in 1922 at a cost of sixty thousand dollars, is pictured above. Throughout the years additional improvements have been made.
