And edifying to hear 3000 persons. mostly teen-agers, singing and praying together at the Benedictions of the It seemed like a Blessed Sacrament? . . . dream-the friendly attitude of the delegates, and the proof that when everyone recognizes Christ as his King. race and color are forgot- ten . . . Didn't the missioners, even those who had suffered much, strike you as the happiest of humans? . . . XVeren't the talks inspiring, es- pecially Monsignor Sheens? .... -X swim in St. Mary's lake felt very refreshing on those days, didnt it? . . . How did you manage in the candlelight procession, when about 3000 candle- bearing persons marched about the campus re- citing the Rosary? . . . YVeren,t you tired from hurrying from hall to hall to listen to every talk and see each exhibit? YVasn,t the trip home fun, in particular, when we stopped in Chi- cago to see the museum and to get a boat ride on Lake Michigan? . . . Sister Mary Generose, NVinona Erkins In our report on the Notre Dame con- vention we cannot fail to tell you about the charming little Negro lass who took a liking to Sister Mary Generose for was it the other way around?j when We went boat riding on Lake Michigan to enjoy ourselves while waiting between Chicago trains . . .
