Love Love is having a friend who's kind Love is having a fun-filled mind Love is waving to a friend while while getting the mail Love is having a dog who greets with a wagging tail Love is having a teacher who says your not to blame Love is having friends who let you join the game. Love is having God near all the time Love is hearing the church bells chime Love is having parents who care Love is having friends who share Love is everywhere! Melanie Beiser Buttered Peas I'd climb a mountain for some peas, or even swim the seven seas. I'd give up my three special wishes, just for some fat, round, green, delicious Buttered Peas. Steve Kinstle War The war isn't something in the air It's real, it's happening everywhere But no one seems to really care And so the war goes on. We plead with God for war to cease We ask him for a lasting peace Man must work to earn release And so the war goes on. Julie Moschella Peace I wonder what Peace would be like Peace on this great earth. Men have lived, have fought and died Babies are killed at birth. I wonder what Peace would be like If it would come again So that we might live in friendship And love, with all of men. Kathy Shea

Poems Poems are not my thing, I'm afraid, Though I do not mean to degrade Bob Kinstle Morning One dawn I decided To witness the newly born morning The air was misty and damp The cool breeze rustle the leaves on the trees And everything was hushed and still Only bird songs floated on the air And then- A train whistled in the distance And as though on signal Everything began to come to life All my heart kept saying was Thank God, I am alive to enjoy this beautiful morning.
