By Post mr Eleanor Geraldine Eldrldge 38 In a series of fizendly letters Gemlclme Eldrzdge 38 gwes us sezeral mtzmate glmzpses of her summer s vacatzon Grand Canvon Lodge G1 and C' myon North Rlm Arlzona July 7 1937 Dearest Eleanor Your letter has at last 1 eached me It has tagged me around almost half of the cont1 nent You d laugh 1f you could see It one can hardly see the enxelopc for the many postage marks all ow er It I certamly was glad to get your m1ss1ve and from the sound of It you must be haung been in on that Tieasuie Hunt and dance that the club gate From your leport It seems as lf practlcally everybody ln town that we know xx as there I almost enxv you Howex er I am enloung ex elv m1nute of my rip W1th1n the past week I have seen three Natlonal Parks Zlon Bryce and Grand Cam on I must confess I had no ldea that such wonders eiclsted rlght here ID oul own Umted States Zion unpressed me because It xx as the first Park that I saw Though It was beautlful I do not th1nk that It can compare wlth e1ther Grand Canyon or Bryce Bryce IS my fax or Grand Canvon appealed to me not because of 1ts colorlng as you mlght suppose but be cause of 1tS vastness Can you lmagme any thlng fourteen miles mde and oxer a mlle deep?
