THE SHAMROCK 11 - PROPH ECY - We prophesy that ten years from now: Joanne Ambrose will have achieved fame as the fastest typist in the world, typing at the rate of 333 words per minute. Mary Bernazani and Marie Miquelon will be coaching a sensational basketball team named, quite appropriately, The Watertown Steam Rollers. Catherine Bertrand will be the U. S. interpre- ter to France, and will be giving driving les- sons on How not to be taken in by a French Taxi Cab Driver. ' Denise Castonia will be Tallulah Bankheadn of 1965. Rita Curtin will be President of the Man- Haters Association, a Society for Discriminat- ing Women. Helen Burns will be directing a finishing school amalgamated with Patricia Ricci's School of Fashion, their slogan will be, Have a fashionable finish with Ricci and Burns. Mildred Farrell will be author of a book en- titled, Bookkeeping in Ten Easy L6.l'J07ZJ.U This book will be a national best-seller. Phyllis Howley will be manufacturing but- tons to be worn by aggravated students only. These buttons will be colored mustard yellow and Oh, Sister, stop it will be printed on them in bright orange. Marilyn Peters will be giving treatments to extremely nervous and high-strung people. Eleanor O'Leary and Ann Chisholm will be operators of the Don't-step-on-her-toes Dance School. Helen McLean and Barbara Sullivan will be car-hops at Richards Drive-In. They want a job that will help them meet interesting people. Barbara Mullahy will be the inventor of a hair tonic for the removal of gray hair. Mary Jean Orris will be removing the shells from pistachio nuts. She believes in manual labor. Frances Nelligan will be a successful taxi- cab driver at Hollywood and Vine. Anne Mulkern and Elizabeth Maclnnes will have devised a map for a safe and convenient route through Filene's and Jordan's Base- ments. Ethel Furey will be the owner of Piccolo's. fShe has been buying shares in the business for yearsj. Janet MacNeil and June Jennings will be ty- ing price tags on the navy blue skirts sold at Sears and Roebuck's. Josephine Malloy will be the top secretary for the Aviation Club in Boston. Marjorie Ryder will be prospecting for gold in Arizona, anything to keep out of work. Margaret Cloherty will be manufacturing king-size cookies at the Golden Cookie fac- tory. Pearl Mclsaac will be the first woman mana- ger of Grant's Department Store. Thomas Keough will be the Albert Einstein of '65. Francis Clinton the one most likely to succeed Jerry Lewis. Richard Cotton will be the head mattress tester for the Sealy Mattress Co. Robert Salerno will be St. Patrick's answer to Tony Curtis. Albert Bernazani will be Secretary of the Navy. Paul Miquelon will be Bernazani's desk-boy. John Devaney will be the Marine Recruiting Officer. Robert MacKinnon and Richard Quinlan will be head pharmacists for Erickson's Phar- macy. Richard Papalia will be Bishop in the Belgian Congo. Edward Sullivan and Robert Duffy will be the founders of the Syndicated Newsboy Association. Francis Mugphy will be the internationally famous car esigner. Walter O'Leary will be the instructor at the Boston Skating Club. Lawrence Cacppellucci will be head contractor of the worl 's first Trans-Atlantic bridges. Martin Grillo will be head runner for the Watertown Billiard Academy. Robert Maclnnis will be author of How to Loaf and Make al Million. Francis Morrissey will be chief publicity agent for the Irish Hour. Fred Stuhre will be manager of the Las Vegas Gambling Casino. Edmund Forbes will be the first man to run the 2-minute mile. Paul Cloonan will be model for Curly Q Hair Set. Edmund Hann will be the first man to reach Jupiter. Richard Magane will be the fullback for the Los Angeles Rams. Daniel Moynihan will be the owner of the first interplanetary gas-station. Robert Collini will be the inventor of the first school swivel seat. John Cody will be high scorer for the Boston Celtics.

To Reverend Father Houlihan we leave our devotion, our thanks, and our apprecia- tion for the guidance he has given us. To Father Puccini we leave a list of tele- phone numbers for all available disc jockeys and orchestras for his future dances. To Father Kelly and Father Sullivan we leave our thanks for their spiritual and moral support for all school activities. To the members of the faculty we leave our sincere gratitude for the unselfish years of service they have given us. To the juniors we pass on our hope for a successful Senior year. To the Sophomores we leave a great big push so they will be sure to reach their goals. To the Freshmen we give gallons of confi- dence for the three years ahead of them. Paul Cloonan's cue stick at the academy is left to Billy Shea. john Cody wills his dancing shoes, size 14, to joe Guden. Robert Collini bequeathes his position as busboy at Barney Sheff's to james Dempsey. Richard Cotton leaves the corner locker at Victory Field to Billy Quinlan. Phyllis Howley wills her pony tail to Mar- tha Duffy. June Jennings bequeathes her stylish flow- ers to Marie Hallenbrook. Thomas Keough leaves his peanut-butter sandwiches to Robert Leathe. will Elizabeth Maclnnes bequeathes her blushes to Marjorie McDermott. Francis Morrissey leaves his Irish brogue to Thomas Keaveney. Daniel Moynihan bequeathes his mathe- matical interest to William Walsh. Anne Mulkern wills her glamorous nick- name to Dorothy Monahan. Barbara Mullahy wills her mother to Mar- tha Rattigan to be used as a chaperone for all the dances next year. Francis Murphy leaves his hot-rod to Rich- ard McHugh. Eleanor O'Leary leaves to Phyllis joy her cellar for parties. Walter O'Leary bequeathes to William To- ker three study periods a day and a pass to leave the room. Mildred Farrell's sneakers and socks are left to Mary Connelly. Edmund Forbes wills his collection of ties to Francis Birney. Ethel Furey leaves her ability as a soda jerk to Mildred Egizio. To William Shutt, Martin Grillo leaves his shoe shine kit, and Edmund Hann leaves him his tardy record.
