N: 24 H 'Me Slmmaack Official Publication of Saint Patrick's High School Volume XIX MAY, 1955 No. 4 Let Us Remember .... The day we have anticipated for four years has finally arrived - Graduuliou. Amidst the ioy and happiness of this day we are a little fearful. We say to ourselves, What lies ahead? What will it be like being a part of the world and its problems? Then we pause and think of the four years in which we have deepened our knowledge of our Religion and strengthened our love for God. This thought will give us the con- fidence and stability we need to lead good lives. We are Catholics and it is obligatory that we act and live like Catholics. There is, moreover, a definite idea embodied in this obligation. We must, first of all, be proud of our Faith, then proud to uphold its principles, and proud to keep our ideals high. We must be proud of our Church and its spiritual leaders, and above all, proud to say I AM A CATHOLIC, A CHILD OF THE KING OF KINGS. If we remember these things, we need not be anxious about the world, its vices, and its problems, because we have a shield, a bright, protective shield of sincere love for God which the force of evil can never tarnish or destroy.
