Thirteen of the little darlings are still with us, Crystal, Janet, Car- men, Joe K., Jack, Anita, Pat, Emma Jean, Dailene, Mariorie, Maxine, Duane, and Marilyn W.-Mem- ories?-drums. ln the second grade, our class grew to the tune of Muriel, Marilyn O., Mary Ann, Edna, and WORM. Sister Anna Clare soon became a sub- stitute for Mrs. Melancon. Third Grade-Teresa and Kenny and Sister Mary Charlotte. Sister Eugenia Marie-a year of double trouble with a roomful of fourth graders plus half of the fifth, and Jimmy. Memories-the start of the Seeliger-Palazza fued! The next year brought us Sister Bernard Marie, Ed, and Louise Qthat was the fifth gradej. Sister Frances welcomed us sixth graders, Gary and Helen into the hallowed years of upper grade school. Beth and Ronald came in the seventh grade, the year Sister Miriam of Magdala taught us. Sister Matthew Mary guided us Qand Dickj over the biggest stumbling block of our career, the eighth grade. The happy event of the year -record breaking Hope Chest total, between 300 and 400 per cent, the sad event-the death of a dear classmate, Bernadine Pratto. THE GREEN YEAR High school's fairyland couldn't remain so for those wide-eyed Freshmen of September '49, A few onions, burlap bags, and broken eggs brought us back to earth again. Hey, boys, re- member the badges of black and blue pinned on us by the Seniors. Under the guidance of Sister Martha and the leadership of Dailene, our Presi- dent, the Seniors were treated to a memorable picnic at Lewis and Clark park by a bunch of red- faced Iniuns. Joining our class that year were Joe B., Leo, Claudette and Caroline.
