My dear Graduates. It seems apropos to make horizons and spirit the subject of my message to you. Horizons and spirit, new and old, of the parish of St. Nicholas of Tolentine constitute the very heart of my message. Consider the first church, a garage chapeli' and seeit grow in less than a year, with the laying of the cornerstone of the original church. That church should be very dear to you gradu- ates. Mary Magdalen chose the better part when she sat with Christ and learned Eternal Wisdonu from Wisdom Eternal. You are like so many other Marys since your very classrooms were formed out of the original church where the Lord had dwelt. Now this site is to be used for greater grammar school facilities and this to be a new modern high school, a rectory, another convent, a central heating plant. You leave your beloved school to pass on to new horizons. God grant that you attain those glorious heights of earnest endeavors. Take the Spirit of Tolentine with you wherever you go- spirit and zeal of Tolentine will enable you to reach new horizons. God bless you! FATHER RAYMOND J. STENGEL, O.S.A.
