Its aca- demic ratings often supercede those of much larger high schools. During the last ten years many graduates have passed through the portals of this school and gone into the world proud that they were Tolentians-proud of the faith they bore and which they would carry into the world. For the sign of faith is the true mark of a grad- uate of a Catholic school. 16 . fu 'YW A milf? 'fEllIlW'2 4i?l3ZA Vfgv ' XXQNf.0nf' i f .Q Ji , Q ..:, f-if F r- P '0lf'EN?, SIW? fx 4. Those who belong to this society have proved themselves, for they have received a mark of 85052 or higher in each of their subjects. A student has four chances a year to reach this high scholastic aim, for there is a mem- bership at the end of each quarter, a period of eight weeks of study. Membership proves that a student is proficient in not only one, but all six subjects, and that he has a wide scope of knowledge. By attain- ing this mark he has earned the respect of his teachers and his fellow students and has become an aristocrat in Tolentine's society of scholarship.
