CLASS OF ’58 Never to be forgotten . . . yes, our freshmen year at Saint Monica's will remain a vivid mem- ory . . . Initiation with the ridiculous get ups, the high and mighty seniors, judgment in the aud- itorium and ice cream and gifts in the cafeteria . . . the Welcome Dance, first dance of the school year, given by the seniors to make us feel at home . . . Hi-Jinx gave us our first chance to show the school what we could do. Our theme was the season of Fall, and we carried it out in Indian Summer . . . Green and Gold Day was next on our calendar, bringing with it the new experience of working, boys and girls together . . . Closing a wonderful and eventful year was Eighth Grade Day which we gave to show to our successors, the eighth grade, a glimpse of high school life ... So here we are, remembering our happy-go-lucky days as freshmen, yet looking ahead with enthusiasm to next year . . .
