We were little tots like these. And everyone loved us so. They'd pick us up and hold us. And tickle us under our chins. They hadn't the heart to scold us. They just stuck us with safety pins. We'd always wait till night to cry. And wake up people miles away. They rled all night to find out why. Till we would stop, at break of day. As time went on, we grew and grew. The good overshadowed all the bad. And this Is now left us to do. To be a credit to mom and dadi - -Nancy Thompson To write this prophecy, in our time machine we shall depart So turn the dial to nineteen-sixty-two and let us start. To some affair our classic ten seem to be assembling. And look--a feast of some sort it is resembling. There’s a sign that will explain the festivities and all The Class of Nineteen-fifty-two’s Alumni Banquet and Ball” So 'round the banquet table we’ll go, stop first with Ronnie Brown Who is labeled the best electrician of this or any town. Seated to his right and brightly smiling is our Ginger K. She has been titled Miss Popcorn of '62 today. But let's not linger, for next we have Karl Kozee Most renowned and ingenious scientist of this day. Do you recognize Emma Ramirez, our Spanish chum? First Lady of Ecuador she has recently become. Placed next to Emma is our southern belle, Becky Hawes Who’s so widely known for her revival of the South's lo3t cause. Here's the ex-Nancy T., who's realized her ambition at last By simply having seven sons, her goal's been more than passed. A naval officer we have next and who else could it be But Dawson Warner ranking as a lieutenant, I see. Seated at the end is our favorite comedian Star of radio, screen, and television—John Moran. Here we have Charles Gallis and as we all might have pre- dicted. He's president of a Bachelor's Club—women restricted. Entering the Alumni Hall last is Miss Shirley Ann With a diamond on her hand and her favorite Air Corps man. --Rebecca Hawes «ouMMl r fi JUNIORS John Moll Billy Coyne Jackie Simona Charles Abell Paul Makowski Richard Reidy Charles Abell Alice Boyle Beth Hines Ketty Medina Marilyn Thon A junior boy is never shy. No sit-in-the-corner-guy.” Our junior gals are peppy, wowl Know all the tricks, use them, and howl If the going Is ever rough. They aan take it, they are tough. Want to see them on the ball? Come to their hops at St. Mary's Hall. SOPHOMORES Edith Scherer Eileen Broderick Pat Broderick Fay Stanford Pat Flester Shirley Wesley . Eugene Heilig Bob Widener Larry Purschwitz Donald Kutzera Frank Binder As a class we are quite classy. Bright as fireflies. Busier than honeybees. Till meeting Sister's eyes. Then we are rigid at attention. Dote on every rule. To be specific, we are terrific Staying after school. The more we tried, the less we pleased, hut lately, to our vast surprise. It's all hellos, and no good-byes. The seniors, juniors, sophomores too. All wish us a happy Fifty-two.” F.S. LO in rM What is a noun? an adverb or verb? So it goes in our English classes While Sister tries latent brains to disturb To make well-informed lads and lasses. History class is a headache to all Except for a chosen few. To them it is merely Columbus' call To discover a world that is new. Chemistry Shorthand, typing, and bookkeeping, too We're learning more each day Soon, just think what we can do-- We can go out and work—with no play.
