March closed the Lenten Season, and during the first three days of Holy Week the annual high school Retreat took place. Our spirits were lifted, and we felt closer to God. The Retreat oi 1959 had a special meaning to us, for it was oui last. We prayed, meditated, and asked Cod foi the help we would ,need when the doors of St lVlichael's were closed behind us. The excitement of graduation began to takt hold in April. Caps and gowns were measured lnvitations were ordered. Spring blossomed beautifully in May, and with it came the Prom. How wonderful everybody looked, and how tired we felt the next day at school as we drooped through our classes. These were the happiest times of our young lives. Honor Day added another beautiful memory to our al- ready overflowing stock of them. For the last time we marched slowly down the aisle of the auditorium. We sat quietly as awards were given to the deserving students.
