Between rehearsals for OKLAHOMA we crammed for mid-semester exams. We practiced long and worked hard, but still managed to have fun. On- stage was brand new territory as the scared per- formers could testify. We put on our make-up with a shaking hand, and dressed for our parts. Remember how snowy and white the lobby looked the night of the Winter Formal! The Stu- dent Council transformed the room into the wintry atmosphere of a moonlit sleighride. This was the last Winter Formal of our school days at St. Michael's. Maybe we had this in back of our minds as we danced in the wonderland, and maybe that was why we all agreed it was the nicest formal we had attended. These were happy months filled with the fun, laughter, and work that happens only to seniors.
