- 'vw-no Wiwaldw .9. Quis ut Deus It seems like only yesterday that we timidly ap- proached St. Michael's for the first time. llere we entered into a new world, a world of countless opportunities. llcre we received thc loving care and guidance of the sacrificing priests and sisters. llere we were taughtlto love one another and pattern our lives after Our Lord, and here we came to know St. Michael, the archangel, our protector and our ideal. This homey atmosphere at St. Michael's has created a loving spirit that is second to none. lt is very diflicult to try to explain in writing just what this spirit is, for it is a spirit of an internal nature. lt is expressed hy the actions of thc faculty and students alike. lt is a hond that unites so many diversified personalities into one big family. Finally, we find the expression of this spirit in our athletic letlttts. ln this our yearhook, the Michaclinian, we hope to give our readers a deeper insight to the Nlichaelinian Spirit in the hest way we know how. lly portraying the various phases of school life, we hope to show the influence of St. Michael in our every day life. As we leave St. Michael's, having replaced our timidity with a courageous outlook to the future, we may forget many things we have learned, however, ever vivid in our minds and hearts will he the hond that has united us in becoming true Michaelinians, the Michael- inian Spirit. gd...
