. . Mary, We craufu Uwe with blassams today How appropriate that we dedicate the lovely month of May to the beautiful Queen of Heaven. The first summer blossoms are brought to her altar daily and placed there with loving care. The flowers of our good deeds are also offered to her, for our wonderful mother deserves only the best. These special days pass quicklyg and as the end draws near, St. Michaels prepares for her glorious annual coronation. A tint of sadness enters each Seniors heart with the opening hymn, for this is his last May Crowningg but as Marlene places the crown on Our Lady's head, the knowledge that she is Queen of each students heart brings a feeling of peace and contentment. Hearts and eyes lifted to the center of the altar, the court awaits the eoronation. The queen and the crown are blessed by Father Adolphg the moment has come! Our Lady is crowned, and an act of consecration is led by Marlene and jack. The procession moves out, but the consecrated hearts continue to lie at the feet of their Mother. ii r Interested parents see the work of their chil- dren at the annual art exhihit. Not only are the parents proud of the artistic work, but junior himself seems quite happy. HOME AND SCHOCDL A new and very welcome organiza- tion was recently added to St. Michaelis. This was the Home and School Associa- tion. Although only two years old, it has achieved a variety of accomplishments, including the renovation of the seventh and eighth grades, and re-decoration of the grade school library. Among their future plans is included the remodeling of the high school cafeteria. The former success of their achievements will assure this fine organization of continued suc- cess in future endeavors. That the monthly meetings of the Home and School Association are serious business can easily be seen here as Mrs. Scihel, the Corres- ponding Seerctary, finishes her report.
