The high school library is the scene of the Student Council meetings held every XVednes- day at 7:30 sharp. Its members consist of under- class presidents, senior class officers, honor soci- ety representatives and select students. The function of the Student Council is to bring the students closer to Cod by social, athletic, and religious activities. For this reason, the Student Council is divid- ed into four branches. It is the job of the social committee to plan and carry out soeials, skating parties, and the like. The athletic committee stimulates the student school spirit and handles the affairs of our basketball teams. To unite the life of each student more closely to Cod is the aim of the religious committee. The propaganda committee keeps the students informed of all activities. Under the direction of Father Ed- ward, the Student Council can readily provide a solution to the problems which confront it. Student council officers plan the agenda.
