Exploring the World Moderator, Miss Crino, reviews information with MUN students. Model UN takes place on the University of California, River- side campus,in late February. It is sponsored by the political science department at UCR. The purpose of MUN is to give high school students the oppor- tunity to learn by doing. They act out their roles as delegates and arrive at an understanding of how international relations and diplomacy operate. They also learn how to research and present a topic of current importance. This year St. Michael's students are representing Bolivia. Carol and April re- search their infor- mation on Bolivia. They are amazed by what they have dis- covered.
