During the spring and fall of 1914 a few very brilliant members of Toronto University founded an institution based upon their own ideals, to be known as the Federal University. A very high standard was set, no candidate being admitted Without first-class general deficiency and at least a fundamental knowledge of pool and billiards. Furthermore, all candidates must present certificates that they have Hbummed' for at least one year and that they apparently have no intention of improv- ing. In spite of this high standard a large number of students were enrolled and the professors who were chosen according to their demerits are as follows: President, Dean and Head Professor-K. A.
