Crombie. t was a good season for the juniors, with first place wins t the Belt Line Relays, the SMC and East York In- itationals, and the TSSAA. They were TDCAA cham- tions, and silver medalists at OFSAA. John Bolan was he Junior MVP. He was the TDCAA gold medalist, placed first at the SMC Invitational, second at the York, East York, and TSSAA Invitationals, and came fifth at the McQuaid Invitational. At OFSAA, John finished sixth. The bantams also had a good season, finishing in the top few positions at every meet. There is much hope for the future from these young athletes. The bantam MVP was Chris Loftus, a hard working team leader. His season began slowly with a ninth place finish at the SMC Invitational. Absent: T. Blundell. TEAM RECORD St. Mike ' s cross-country team was the top overall boys team at every meet in which they participated this year. This outstanding record made them the number one ranked boys overall team in Ontario for a second con- secutive year. At the TDCAA, the senior and junior first place, and the bantam third place, gave the cross-country team the TDCAA Overall Championship for the fourth year in a row. St. Mike ' s was well represented at the McQuaid Jesuit Invitational in Rochester, N.Y. The Cross-Country team defeated the top ranked teams from the north- eastern U.S. to capture the McQuaid Jesuit Varsity AAA Championship. According to the American coaches, St. Michael ' s is one of the top teams in North America. SENIORS The seniors had an undefeated season, placing first at the Belt Line Relays, and the SMC, York, East York, anc TSSAA Invitationals. They were TDCAA gold medalists and finished third at OFSAA. At the McQuaid In- vitational, the senior team finished first in the Varsity AAA. Thady Blundell, the team captain, was also the MVP. He won the individual championship at the SMC. York, East York, and TSSAA Invitationals. Thady was first at the TDCAA and fourth at the McQuaid In- vitational. At the Canadian Junior Championship (under 20 years), Thady Finished fourteenth, sixth among higr school students. This running record makes Thady one of the top high school runners in Canada. 76

Seljak, M. Zahra, S. Prendergast, D. Palluzzi. ABSENT: 0. Kuz, P. Dicosmo, D. Fava. The Kerry Blues had a perfect record of 12 wins and losses this season. Their accomplishments include the TDCAA Championship, the Catholic Cup Championship, and the Metro Bowl Championship. The superb defense allowed only 4 touchdowns all year. Offensively, the Kerry Blues averaged 35 points a game. Twelve team members were chosen for the TDCAA All-Stars. The team MVP was Tony Barozzino, the leading tackier this year.
