Representing the present with his continuous dedication to helping others is Leon Farmer. Children and adults have all witnessed his calm- ing manner, patient listening, and creative problem-solving. By his own example, Leon teaches two of the most important lessons of The Saint Michael School: that serving others is serv- ing God and that striving to do one's best is thanking God. His constant supportive words and actions subtly infuse the school with a daily example of Christian service. A man's real life is that accorded him in the thoughts of other men by reason of respect or natural love.
