Toward New Horizons is the motto of thirty-eight girls who are all members of the Future Homemakers of America. The FHA has had a very busy year. Twenty-one members of the FHA and FFA enjoyed the State meet- ing and the State Fair held in Columbia. New mem- bers were welcomed into the club with an initiation party in September. In November the girls entertained their mothers with the annual Mother-Daughter Banquet. Members of the FHA have attended and taken part in the district, bi-county, and county meetings. Last summer Bonnie Inabinet, president, attended the state convention at Winthrop College for three days. Under the leadership of Mrs. Pitts FHA girls sold doughnuts and Stanley products to make money for summer camp, the FHA-FFA party, and a trip in the summer. These are the high spots in the life of a FHA girl. FUTURE HOMEMAKERS FHA bus driver, Jimmy Broody, doubles as bathing beauty at the beach. Angela and Dorothy enjoy the sun on the beach. FFA OFFICERS Seated (1 to r): Charlie Wise, Secretary; Pete Tucker, Vice-President; Tommy Knight, President; Standing: Truman Mack, Treasurer; Lindsey Mack, Reporter; Allen Hooker, Sentinel.
