As we recall our days at St. Matthews High Our hearts are heavy and we surpress a sigh. Though we look forward to our life ahead We leave our school days with sadness and dread. We think of our teachers, always so near, Our memories of them will ever be dear. They gave us their help when we were in need In the hope that through them we might succeed. And now that these happy days are past And our day of departure is here at last We look to the future and face it with wonder, May our hopes and our dreams be ne'er torn asunder.
