Sports Basketball Sports have been an outstanding factor in our school life at S.M.l. The training in coordination, in alert thinking, in wise judgment, in team spirit and cooperation, which the players have received, will be an invaluable aid in their social life and business enterprises in future years. With baseball and basketball leading the list of sports, the students have experienced many thrills and have seen much action during their four years in high school. The varsity players of our present basketball team have put forth all possible effort in the winning of fourteen of the eighteen games they played. There was victory in the hearts of the boys even when losses were suffered, for they have tried their best. The Varsity Team won second place in the Associate Paro- chial Leage and traveled to Glens Falls to participate in the Catholic B Tournament. tr-141'-A--J' Coach Howlan prepares for a successful basketball season.
