Resting with Him Awhile For the three, solemn. silent days of our retreat, we were given the opportunity to reflect upon the state of our souls, our progress in spirituality, and the vocations which God wishes us to embrace. With the detailed explanations of our retreat master, Father Hill. many of the complicated problems involving our Christian morals were readily solved. Each of us was allowed time for meditation and prayer: we experienced peace and joy during this time spent alone with God. Each day Father Hill conducted three Conferences in which he covered a wide variety of topics, frequently clearing up a point that had been hazy in our minds. When one of us had a partic- ularly perplexing problem, a private audience in the office was granted by Father Hill, at which time the difficulty would be aired and advice given for its solution. A feeling of solace and utter contentment was acquired after casting aside worldly pleasures and distractions and raising our minds and hearts entirely to Him, whom we are striving to know, love and serve daily, more and more. 4 P. Mazur. M, Morek. R. M. DeZolt. S, Blaek. and E. Kenna make the Way of the Cross. Our retreat master, Rev. Lawrence J. Hill, SJ., conducts a conference. Father Hill instructs R. Zack. T, Magila. A, Hroncieh, and E. Cappellueci.

'fDo you love Our Blessed Mother enough to consecrate yourself to Her, and to follow the rules of Her Sodality?', This is the question asked the many prospective candidates to this select organization. It is select in the fact that it wants only those members who are going to be sincere in keeping the rules out of love for our Lady. The rules themselves are few and simple: our spiritual life at school Fits right into the pattern of some of them. For example, the whole student body attends Blass every Friday. and this fulfills rule one, which states, lNfass on one other day besides Sundayf' 4...
