In her ex- ample of heroic purity, indomitable courage, steadfast patience, and of the many other con- victions to which she adhered so tenaciously, we envision U16 typical American youth, a pattem ofthe practice of the very aims and ideals that we have culled from our years at St. Mary's. Tlius Kateri has become for us an inspiration, a symbol of the contribution we hope to make to the great American Heritage that is ours.
