gy fafen veal' Preceding the autumnal harvest is the unlimited preparation of tilling, planting, and culti- vating to assure a yield both flourishing and abundant. The glorious attainment of fifty golden years in the majestic service of God's priesthood. we think, is fittingly portrayed as a Golden Harvest, of which the part played by the priest in our student life is one very important contribution to this happy fulfillment now realized through the blessing of Al- mighty God by our beloved pastor, Monsignor Walsh, who this year, too, was honored by our Holy Father with his elevation to the dignity of Domestic Prelate. Paralleling this re- markable reaping is our own modest commencement harvestw which culminates our extensive readying with his guiding and helpful hand ever raised in profound blessing Into our minds and hearts have been rooted the fundamental principles of an exemplary Christian life, which have been cultivated through prayer. study and constructive activity, a pattern to follow in our daily quest of the Eternal Harvest.
