Let us follow the progress of the paper from its inception to completion. Three weeks before the finished product reaches its reader a meeting of all Corona members is called and the news and articles to be covered is distributed by the editor. A deadline is established and articles must be in at that time. The items then go to the typists and then on to the copyreaders where defects in spelling and composition are corrected. Then comes the first trip to the print- ers where galley sheets or proofs are printed and returned for further corrections and final placements in the selected sec- tions. On the second trip to the printers the finished product is conceived, leaving only the dis- tribution through school to be accomplished. Although it looks quite simple, the compiling and publishing of the Corona is a tedious job which requires much time and effort. Journalism Club The principles of Catholic writings must be installed early as a newspaperman otherwise he will not be able to evaluatd the truth in reporting. Bearing these principles in mind the underclassmen, the future reporters and editors of the Corona, are instructed and guided in the field of Journal- ism. Behind the leadership of Sr. Margaret Eucharia St. Mary's is sure to have the finest in Cath- olic papers in the years to come.
