For fifty-three graduates, however, the good, old days For the fresh man, it is hard to believe that one day he will look back at his high school career and say, Boy, those were the good, old days! For fifty-three graduates, however, the good, old days have arrived. For them, it is now the bygone era of high school classes, dances, football and basketball games, proms, candy sales, assemblies, pep rallies, plays, etc. All that is left of these activities are the memories. The graduate is in the unique position of having his entire adult life before him. It is an un- marked, untried record, and that too is unique. The graduate has the potential to become whatever he or she wants, to achieve as much as he or she can, and to share as much as he or she will. Perhaps, the good, old days are past, but it is the future that holds the excitement and the expectation of life. 14
