Loosing a friend in our Sophomore year was a most difficult experience for us to accept. Today, as we dedicate this to her, we still feel the loss of her friendship. Kathy, you will always be in our hearts. How can we express our emotions Let our true thoughts be revealed. When the pain that lies within us Seems so unique and truely real. You gave us your smile unselfishly At times when we were in doubt, And taught us the meaning of courage Whenever our strength ran out. You taught us the beauty of friendship Through your kind words and deeds, And offered your loving hand Whenever you felt the need. You taught us the meaning of giving Through your generosity and sharing, And restored our sense of believing By your endless interest and caring. Though we still grieve your absense Your memory will always exist. In the hearts and minds of many And by many you’ll always be missed. 56 Good times and bad must come to an end, and the end of our time here in Saint Mary’s has come. We have laughed, cried, worked and played through the last four years of our young lives, and now we must leave these familiar halls behind to face the challenge of life. Within these halls we leave a part of ourselves, for everything we touch becomes a part of us and we a part of it. However we will hold onto our memories and realize that they are as precious as we have made them. Though we go our separate ways, and follow our own destinies, the Class of 1977 leaves here united.
