Wl CluU tcfet', The long awaited day has finally arrived — the day when the student becomes a Senior. It is said that the spirit of an entire high school depends upon its seniors. This is, indeed, true. For all other classes look up to these young men and women with respect, hoping that their day will soon come. At this time the sen- ior, too, begins to realize the need for self- improvement. With this idea in mind, he strives to do his very best. College applica- tions begin to be sent out with an enclosed high school transcript. Applications for busi- ness positions are filed. The subjects become more specialized with trigonometry and phy- sics for the science-minded as well as steno- graphy and secretarial practice for the office bound. Religion IV is taught by the priests and this time it is vocations that are discussed to great detail. As the end of the year comes in sighf, graduation practice is begun. The time has come when the graduates must make way for future seniors. They must make use of the education given to them through these four years. The final step has just been taken, yet this is really only the beginning. The stu- dents leave with self-reliance and security — a security that they have been well-trained in every way for all of life’s many undertakings. The three minute rush — up the “down” stairs!
