S St Marys Salute EFLLOI' 66455 p I0 QC? rs marrred to the astonrshlng lrttle blond of our class who by the way has swltched from peroxlde to trntalr and IS now an alarming red head She probably changed the color of her hatr to match her brrght red sports car whnch she recerved as an anniversary glft from Larry Mr and Mrs Danlel Krallk We never thought It could happen Dan Krallk and Carol Mazuchowskl finally decided that they were meant for each other and after their long siege of battles were over were marrred very quletly In Indiana where Dan IS the Athletic Director at Notre Dame Unlversrty and Carol IS at home tendung to their seven chniren Mr and Mrs Don Stanek fformer June Marne Scottl have really struck It rich They are the owners of the extensrve Anchor Bay Acres Its somewhat puzzling but maybe Junes beautlclan work really pald o Mr Ed Whlte new proprietor of Nash lnc finaly marrred Dody Schmid and It looks like Ed s working on a competltlve basls with hrs In laws Only last month he opened a new showroom right across the street from Henry Schmid Fords In New Baltimore Acknowledgment was made to the largest Dairy Farm Owners In Mlchlgan Mr and Mrs Davld Swleger lformer Judy Kaczpersklj Dave and Judy now reside IH Richmond Mlchngan where hey proudly exhubrt their newest dairy equrpment and farming methods We understand that Judys qurte a lrttle cow hand Shes up brxght and early at 5 a m helplng Dave mllk and feed their 50 cows At the end of the program former Classmate Judy Plague arrnved from Callfornla where she ns llvlng wrth her husband for whom she was prlvate secretary for two years She then told us of the whereabouts of two other class members Elayne Schmld and Maureen McKlnnon who both entered the convent after graduatlon Elayne CSfster Mary Agnesk who IS now teaching Judys two children at St Patricks School In Callfornla and Maureen fSlster Ann Josephl rs now mrssloned at Holy Rosary Academy In Florida We are sorry that they were not able to be with us thus evenrng but we are sure that they wlll remember us In thezr prayers Two other promlnent class members that are not present are Betty Ruzzln who owns her own d srgn :ng Shoppe rn Paras France and Chrlstlna Brynskr who IS lrvlng ln Washington D C and plannlng her weddung to a college professor from Washington Unlverslty which IS to take place In two weeks It was really astonlshlng to learn how many of our former classmates had chosen outstandmg and prominent POSITIONS In lfe lt was certainly a memorable evening which wlll long remain ln the hearts of a l 19 V955 to acs,c aces, be cccceec J ' X ro fr. . . - . Why dont you remember Mary Gaye Fuerst'P For the past elght years Ive had the thrtlllng experience of Record Manager for New Yorks Bureau of Missing Persons deeply In love with my work and enloytng the atmosphere of New York Cnty lnfe Thls home coming event has given us all an opportuntty of welcoming the Governor of Mlchtgan whom our class may claim Hrs Excellency the honorable Joseph James Michael Stahovec Slnce some of us have left New Baltimore many great changes have taken place not only ID the city Itself but also In our former classmates All of these surprlses were revealed at the Centennual Ball which was held at the Hotel Plaza being managed by MR AND MRS CHARLES EDGECOMB lformer Barbara Meldruml where the Graduates of T958 were given complimentary sultes for the week end and gathered to recall old memories Much to our surprise we found that New Baltnmore ts now being governed by a women s council It seems as though these waves havent enough to do In rasslng a family so they ve decided to parttclpate an pOlITlCS Eva Knapp Cformer Eva Thomasl has wllltngly left hubby Joel at home to care for thenr five klddnes while she assumes the honor of city mayor Some of the counczlwomen assvstnng her are Mrs Thomas Schustler fSharlene Whltmorel Mrs Earl Clowes CMary Mayeal Mrs Kurt Goldenbogen CMartan Spnckettl As we mingled among the crowd and recogntzed old famllzar faces we learned that Mary Ellen Roberts and Carolyn Hlmmels finally got up enough courage to apply for drivers ltcenses and are now members of the POWDER PUFF DERBY at Motor Cnty Speedway Not only have these gurls exercised rough neck tacttcs on the track but It seems as though they re quite the hot rodders on the hrghway as well Only yesterday Mary Ellen received a S25 fine from Patrolman Tom McNally CWyatt Earp IID for dns turblng the peace with extremely loud mufflers Better take It easy Mary Ellen or youll lose your precious hard earned Incense and end up traveling on a horse from Robinsons Stable owned by Mr and Mrs Gary Robinson Yes' believe rt or not former Betty Lou Kung now spends all her spare time helping Gary clean stables Highlight of the evening was the Introductions of the followlng outstandung alumnr Mr and Mrs Edward Strauch Mrs Strauch as the former Pat Van Damme Ed IS chief sewer cleaner for the New Baltimore Sanitary Commission He and Pat now have 3 lnttle sewer cleaners to assist them Mr and Mrs Larry Wllhelm are proprletors of a large Tool 81 Due Factory tn Detrolt Mnchlgan Larry 18 1 05+ , . l .lulft .
