An abundance of talent plus a tre- mendous competitive spirit provides a combination that will establish records. The Class of 1960, with these essentials, posted all sorts of school records. The first class with more than one hundred members graduating indicates the te- nacity of this group. Forty members with B average demonstrates their will- ingness to work. Seventy per cent of the class above the state average on the state testing program provides clues to their ability. Three National Merit finalists present a challenge to this or any other high school of comparable size. Outstanding performance in all student activities, including half the members of the Blue Devil Band, pro- vides excellent icing for the scholastic cake. Powder Puff football that really exploded offered proof the class- could organize something different in enter- tainment. Talent plus spirit equals records. Class of 1960, we will miss you. MR. ORAN B. FARREN Principal O cce 6 MRS. BETTY SNYDER Secretary MR. L. P. INGRAM Assistant Principal
