Beryl Bills finished his third year of varsity football with a crown of glory. Not only was he captain of the '55 Blue Devils. but he also made first team and third team All-State. Captain Bills was one of the most feared defensive players in the area. His brilliant work saved the Blue Devils from defeat time after time. A vicious blocker, he often was the key man in the Blue Devil interference. Beryl has certainly done a great job for his school, his team, and his coach.
