Generous, helpful, happy and a thorough-bred as far as sportmanship is concerned, that's Isabelle. When things need to be done, everyone calls on her, for they know that the task will be accomplished quickly and well. She is likewise a good student. For three years Shirley has been a prominent figure at St. Mary's. Her gentle manner and her soft voice impart to her a womanly dignity that any girl would be proud ofa Shirley has a deep nature which often gives rise to poems of rare talent and ex- pression. Her unassuming demeanor and her quick perception are well portrayed in all her work. Per- haps Shirley's best characteristic is her love of quiet retirement. She never pushes herself forward although she is capable of handling any situation.
