'- 2-1-' , .Sy During the month of mcnuary, the students of the Junior and Senior year organized an active unit of the C.S.M.C.. The purpose of the Crusade is to fos- ter love for the missionary work carried on by the priests and sisters in the foreign lands and in our own country among the Indians and Negroes. The C.S.M.C. is a national organization with headquarters in Ohio. A monsignor is the secretary of the Crusade and it is his dutv to keen in touch with all the active members. At the organization of Qt. Naryfs Unit. Isa- belle Farquhar was elected president, Harriet Boyle secretary, hita Hamel treasurer and John Baybutt head of the stamp club. The unit has adopted an Indian Mission in South Dakota and has sent financial aid as well as other material help. The secretary of the unit carries on correspondence with the various missions and the let- ters from the missionaries are read at the meetings. These meetings are held twice a month and a report of the work accomplished is read.
