Barbara Monsour began her career as cheerleader. Amershek was our sole basketeer. Sharon Thomas and Dick Jeck were our Marian candidates. Socially, we held a Freshmen-So homore box supper and dance. Franken- stein sparked our Hallowe'en dance. Time flew and soon we were. . . JUNIORS We entered room eleven to find Sister Luke again with us as homeroom teacher. This year we lost Kay Motley, but added Carol Kastler and Pat Stahl. Third year leaders were: Carol Kastler, Prexy: Patterson, Veep: Smardo, Secretary: Shaw, again in charge of the money. Our contributions to the MBL Championship team were: Buset, Jeck, Peak, Smardo, Iori, Shaw, Amershek, Patterson, Lyons, Dixon, and Maloan. Zucca was again at- tendant and Monsour cheerleader. Diller became Drum Major, and Casterman, Esch, Ferns, Wachter, and Zucca led the band lines. On the basketball roster were: Maloan, Amershek, Buset, Jeck, and Shaw. Diller was elected Sodality Vice-Prefect, and Monsour appointed Junior Red Cross President. Monsour represented St. Mary's in the Sodality Apologetics contest. Kastler and Patterson were our Marian candidates for King and Queen. Shaw and Meyer were our May crowning attendants. Agnes Diller was our representative at Girls' State, while Shaw, Patterson, Lyons, and Jeck went to Boys' State. -We sponsored the Christmas dance, the mock coronation, and the valentine dance, and final y the Junior-Senior Banquet-- A Cruise to Hawaii. Time was running out and at last we became. . . SENIORS For our final year we had Sister Paula as sponsor. Mark Lyons presided, gavel in hand, with Smardo ready to take over.
