JUST AROUND THE CORNER Scene VIII No xt wasnt Sprxng just around the corner but after those f1nal exams Qxncludmg our f1rst regents World Hlstoryj sophomore gear was almost over and we were lookmv forward to bemg upperclassmen At least we hoped we would be ALT III IN THE ELITE Scene I When we returned to school after another summer lt was w1th the coveted t1tle f upperclassmen junlors Complete Wlth new mantlllas we opened the year w1th the an nual retreat and took stock before enterlng the most vxtal year of all To the horror of many of the gxrls Amerx can Hlstory loomed forth on program sched ules Those favored w1th th1s add1t1on were warned of a tough year ahead Indeed xt was As a Slgh of our commg age we began to sport dr1vers lxcenses en masse and soon We heralded the appearance of Tom Foran s trlbuted to the general chaos We also man aged to mcrease our class d1gn1ty by send mg a troop of noble Journallsts to the annual course held by the Cathohc Instltute of the Press Jolly Jumors adorned St Huberta s home room w1th papler du crepe en orange et en no1r for Halloween revelry Alas tears flow ed freely as the JV cheerleaders were abol lshed EXIT BOYS Scene II Maryxtes move to new headquarters Amld the hustle and bustle amazed glrls found broken and bent lockers 1n the wake of the boys Cautlously treadlng h1therto forbldden terrltory Junlors took over the second floor on the north s1de or IS lt south?
