The Sodalit of Our Lad Virgo Potcns OFFICERS Prefect Vice-Prefect Secretary Treasurer Father Paul Donovan, Spiritual Director of the Sodality, conducts the ceremonies for the installation of officers. Robert Keon, Joseph Sullivan, Stephen Leguori, Barry Meuse. The Marian sodalists have accepted and embraced the opportunity to colla- borate with the Church hierarchy in the establishing and spreading of Christ's kingdom on earth. Papally erected with Rome three years ago, the Sodality has expanded into four distinctive groups, joined together under Our Lady's title, Virgo Potens. With Mary's spiritual help and guid- ance, the Sodality instills in its members the true christian concept of their obliga- tion to their fellow man in seeking to draw him closer to Jesus through Mary. Personal sanctity and apostolic zeal characterize the basic goal of the sodal- ists, for they realize that to be worthy apostles they must aim at sanctity and that to be true saints a manifestation of apostolic holiness is essential. The sodalist is a true son of Mary and a knight of Our Lady. He must be at his Lady's call in eve rything. He must be the guardian and defender of her great titles and privileges. He must fight for her, who destroys all he resies throughout the world. It is to these ends that the sodal- ist pledges himself on choosing Mary as his Queen, his Mother, and his Advocate. J.
