A l To us .... He is the sweeping, poignant, plaintive strains of the QUIS SICUT TE .... He is the voice of 600 boys chanting in solid unity the Kyrie of the People's Mass .... He is the waving palms, the singing procession, and the stirring trumpet tones of GLORIA LAUS ET HONOR on Palm Sunday .... He is the majesty and thunder of the organ rolling and pealing through the reaches of the Church .... He is the voices of the mixed choir blending in exquisite harmony in the O SACRUM CONVIVIUM .... He is the burning Mass candle, glowing stead- ily on the altar consuming its own life in intensity and ardor .... He is the white-albed figure, straight and reverent, changing the Blessed Sacrament to the side altar .... He is the simplicity, richness and elegance of the Repository on Holy Thursday .... He is the penetrating, searching glance that meets your eye but sees the soul .... He is the ringing voice in the pulpit, jolting our com- placency and our easy fitting virtue .... He is the voice in the classroom, pre- senting truth in all its naked grandeur to youthful minds .... He is the voice of the twenty-four Sodalists solemnly promising to live a way of life ascetic in its nature .... He is the leaven of the Sodality, raising the Massbyits hidden action . . He is the voice of Brother Orchid, Thomas More, and Christopher Blake . . . . He is the bent head in the confessional, listening, advising, healing, and encouraging .... He is the father whose features may be traced in his sons . . . . He is the wild, exultant cheering tom from voices, shattering the black coldness on the night of the Williams game .... He is the conqueror whose con- quests are the souls of men .... He is the cell alive in the Mystical Body .... And now he is the suffering Christ, filling up in his body what was wanting to the Passion ....
