Freshmen Fu n As We Were - Class of '52 the AMUSING MEMORIES As frightened Fresbies we were dumb: We entered high school feet and thumbs. The Seniors gave us hopeless looks And made us carry all their books. In all our Classes we were bright. Would you believe - we worked each night! To Mary we were pledged as one So she might lead us to her Son. Our willing tones to God we raised With Marian hymns, our means of praise. We Freshmen gave the Turkey Trot. Boy, did we think that we were tops! Gay and excited, we did appear At ev'ry dance throughout the year. At the Prom we were elite With dangling arms and stumbling feet. Our I.V. team was, oh, so neat: Our school morale was hard to beat. Sister Noelle, our principal then, Solved our problems again and again. Freshmen life We now discard: We leave this year with all-A cards! 44
