Magmficat' Mary s own hymn This song bursts forth out of the fullness of her heart How yoy ful and exultant, yet how humble her acceptance We, too, in our own way, have endeavored to magnify the Lord Through regular rehearsals and diligent practice, we have achieved our goal, at least in part Daily we loin in chanting the High Mass and on Sundays and holy days of obligation the members of the Gzrlr Chou' sing special praises in honor of our Lord and His Blessed Mother The Glee Club and music students offer serious and gay music and provide many hours of enjoyment for ourselves and for others. Seated at the piano is Dick Bnecbe, the man of the hour. CAs a matter of fact, he's the only man among our music grads? Right next to the piano is Kathleen Gallagher, an Arthur Hill Senior. That's Nancy Bow there holding the recital program. You will meet her again as our Valedictorian. Nancy is a winner of a P.T.O. competitive Scholarship. Next is talented jackie Hudmzz, co-prefect of the S.S.S. Listening intently to Dick is our songbird, Mary Haley. Mary is pictured again as she boards the bus in the wee hours for the Grand Rapids Music Convention on page 18. 14
