The main speaker ofthe evening was Mr. Lloyd Haynes who recalled the school days of 1939 and made special reference to the Senior play. New Fires. It was an interesting talk with much humor interspersed. Mr. lohn Baird made a splendid host and was thanked hy all for his gracious hospitality. Mr. Iohn lieverstein was toastmaster and everyone congratulated him on his appropriate and laugh-provoking toasts. Last. hut not least. all paused for a moment to pay tribute to their former pastor and his assistant. Fathers Vogt and Culligan. and also to their former teachers. They made the promise to one another that they would go to see them. Good-night and good luck resounded through the hanquet hall-and thus ended the first reunion oi the 1959 graduating class of St. Mary Cathedral High School ot Saginaw.
