The organization is Financed through a membership contribution drive and various dances sponsored ihroughouf the year. The governing board consists of girls elected by he active members and is under the supervision and direction of Mrse Martha Jane Sutton.

SUPPLY THE DEMAND FOR THE SUPPLY The aim of S.D.S. is to bring about greater application of Chrisfian principles in women through The medium of modesty in dress and aciion, advertising and recreation. The activities of S.D.S. began This year with Cl campaign of learning the prin- ciples of modesty, especially regarding dress, and then applying them 10 the styles of the day. Working Through Homeroom periods assemblies and religion classes The girls discussed and analyzed the styles of the fashion magazines. 5.D.S. also promoted the Fighting 69th by giving booklets and information cbouf this course for greater purify.
