h X hUp Goes the Curtain THESE GOLDEN DAYS h was a genuine dramatic treat which presented Lois Merlcmd as housekeeper and Mary Legge 05 c: famous authoress, with supporting roles by Georgia Beasley, a movie struck ambitionisi, and Mary Nolan and Junei Hunt 05 distract- ing ieen-ugers. A Flashback in the second act gave us Margurei Nieses as school teacher with a friend Betty Frank centrolling a 'chemingh situation with Mary Sue Don- nelly. A second reminiscing scene showed us Virginia Yaegers, Pat Hartman, Janet Ruchfy and Eileen McCarthy ploHing with Carol Ann Meyers for The overthrow of Phyllis Cerino, c1 flirtatious young miss. Mary Schmidt, mother of one of the teenagers, fakes the situation in hand in the third act and all ends happily. The play was directed by Miss Roberta Foley, Dramatic Art teacher, and Carol Maphef, student director.
