Kmcik K Knoila S Johnson Most of The aspiring young artists at St. Mary's can naturally be found in the Art Club. It was started just two years ago and has been progressing ever since. Under The leadership of its president, Jackie Cienciwa, The club does such creative Things as borders and hall decorations. The artists are very handy also for any Teach- er who is too busy To adorn his own room. They cheerfully and willingly Take over This iob To The best of Their ability. There are no requirements in order To ioin the group. A member is asked only to have a love of art with some imagination on the side. During the course of the year many guest speakers, both local and from afar, are asked To lecture The club. In past Times Marti Schook has given helpful suggestions on The principles behind Indian art. 75

Sally Behler retells the age old Christmas story to her two nieces, Debbie and Nancy Nast, during the Glee Club Christmas program. One of the oldest organizations at St. Mary's is the Glee Club. Every year the main holidays of celebration are bright- ened by the angelic tones of this 60 voice chorus. Some of the big events of Glee are the annual Christmas pageant and the Spring program. Last year under the able direction of Mr. Pacholke the Glee Club put on their version of Gilbert and Sullivans, The Mikado . The purpose of the Drama Club is to intro- duce the student to the world of Drama, as well as to provide an opportunity for extra- curriculum endeavors. The students in drama may or may not turn out to be stage per- formers but they are really showing their talent to us at St. Mary's, and their knowl- edge of acting and drama.
