lnvestigating and promoting are the key words in talking about the Marian Club, for this organization takes an active interest in religious vocations. They are concerned with finding out information on the sisterhoods and missions. Butt more important, they promote and pray for an increase in vocations. They make available vocation material and look into some of the characteristics of religious vocations and com- munities. Taylor, Young Christian Students, better known as Y.C.S. has been actively working for the betterment of St. Mary's. This organization is con- cerned with Catholic Action. Let us love not only in word, but in deed and in truth. They seek to find a real problem and then work to get it solved by the best way possible. Their meetings are held as informal discussions, so that each member gets the chance to express his views and opinions. Much is accomplished by these students because they are interested in what they are doing. 72

Sally Behler retells the age old Christmas story to her two nieces, Debbie and Nancy Nast, during the Glee Club Christmas program. One of the oldest organizations at St. Mary's is the Glee Club. Every year the main holidays of celebration are bright- ened by the angelic tones of this 60 voice chorus. Some of the big events of Glee are the annual Christmas pageant and the Spring program. Last year under the able direction of Mr. Pacholke the Glee Club put on their version of Gilbert and Sullivans, The Mikado .
