For those who are in the Student Coun- cil as officers-Paul Henrich, presi- dent, Mary Jo Stellema, vice-presi- dent, Carol Mokrycki, secretary, and David Swistelc, treasurer, and as rep- resentatives, it is an opportunity to be part of the school's government and a chance to voice their opinions. The representatives work along with the omcers to organize school func- tions.

The Soclality of Our Lady is an or- ganization to help students lead a more active spiritual an apostolic life. lt tries to follow its motto. To Jesus through Mary by their week- ly meetings and proiects. This year the Sodality has taken an active in- terest in the prisoners, hospital patients, missons, and the new lit- urgy. The Student Council sponsors such activities as the Homecoming, Col- lege Day and the President Kennedy Scholarship. They also organize school assemblies throughout the yeor and the post game dances. Another important responsibility of the Student Council is to be the student voice . They represent the students' opinions on many issues. The student must have a sincere in- tention tor the betterment of the school to be cz good Student Council member.
