Although the class sponsored no major school activity, it earned the reputation of eagerly cooperating with any project proposed. Tal-:ing part in the oratorical contest were Doris Stahoviak, Kathleen Ald- rich, Willo Kuhn, and joseph Drysdale. Doris Stahoviak won first place and participated in the finals. The was-to-be big event on the freshman calendar, a Minstrel Show, sched- uled for April l, failed to materialize for lack of time. The upper classmen know they missed the best time of the school year. According to tradition the freshmen will have the privilege cf presenting the crown used in the May Queen ceremony on May 25. 22 cg?TlEAl'LYYLCtYL CQQAAEA CR:-:acllyf lon the fDweQo1pen lxzit liluvli .Xl:lru'll.
