fb During retreat time each homeroom had plenty of books and pamphlets for the students to read. Students from 212 must have had an extra good retreat for the art work in this homeroom was the best throughout the school. Bro. Francis Palma fart club moderatorj was in charge. Selecting pamphlets to read are: F. Zito, D. Watson, N. Helfrich, G. Plassmeyer, R. Leininger, and B. Schwanter. Retreat This year's retreat masters were two Maryknoll priests, Fathers McGuire and Carbin. Between Monday November 15th, and Friday November 19th, these missioners gave talks first to the freshmen and sophomores, and during the second half of the week to the juniors and seniors. In the course of the retreat they heard many confessions, were available for private consultations, and answered questions from the Student Question Box. During free time the students were free to read and meditate in the homeroom or in the school chapel. The retreat conferences, masses, and benedictions were held in the school gym.
