GIRLS' SPORTS This year for the firstitime, the girls' team entered the West- chester C.Y.O. Basketball League. Our team was composed of twenty girls, only a few of whom had been on the team beforeg the rest were novices. However, in spite of their inexperience, the girls finished up in second place even defeating St. Gabriel's, who had been undefeated until meeting St. Mary's. One of the foremost characteristics of the team was their will to win, in spite of all obstacles, which was inspired by their loyal friend and coach, Mrs. Claude Briccetti. This will resulted in not one of the leading teams in the league winning more than one game from St. Mary's.
